Newsletter
If you subscribe to the BOOKETIKA newsletter, we collect your email address. We use it only to tell you about new books and related news from BOOKETIKA. The legal basis is your consent.
- After you sign up, you receive a confirmation email. You are added to the list only after you click the confirmation link (double opt-in).
- Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe by writing to [email protected].
- We keep your email address until you unsubscribe.
- We never sell or share your email address with anyone for their own marketing.
The newsletter is managed with Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), which stores the subscriber list and sends the emails on our behalf. Brevo may record whether an email was opened or a link was clicked, so we can see how the newsletter performs. Brevo's privacy policy: brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy.
Emails you send us
If you write to [email protected], we use your email address and message only to reply to you. Messages are received through Cloudflare Email Routing and read in our email account.
Hosting and statistics
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page visits. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites.
Language preference
If you choose a language with the language selector, your choice is saved in your own browser (local storage) so the site remembers it. It is not sent to us.
Links to stores
Book links open Amazon and Lulu. When you visit those sites, their own privacy policies apply.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw your consent at any time, or object to its use. Write to [email protected]. If you live in the European Union, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
